The Salmon River is abundant with various species of Trout. Fish length averages eight to twelve inches and can be found up to eighteen inches in length.

The original Stub Creek Lodge was built in the early 1960’s and the
fishing operation has been in existence ever since. Stub Creek Outfitters are
owned and operated by two local businessmen/fishermen and their families.
